Our Mission
At Sylvia’s Fragrance of Hope, our mission is simple yet powerful:
"To deliver tangible care and emotional encouragement to survivors of domestic violence through community-driven outreach, awareness, and compassion."
We exist to spark healing and resilience by offering more than just support — we offer dignity, love, and a sense of belonging to those who have been made to feel invisible.

What is Sylvia’s Purple Box?
The Purple Box is the heart of our organization.
It’s a lovingly assembled care package designed to bring comfort, calm, and hope to individuals transitioning out of abusive situations.

The box serves as a message: “You matter. You are not alone. You are worthy of peace.”

What’s Inside the Box
Each Purple Box is uniquely crafted, but may include:
-
Hygiene essentials (toothbrush, soap, lotion, feminine care)
-
Calming items (lavender sachets, candles, herbal teas)
-
Journals and pens for reflection and healing
-
Affirmation cards and handwritten notes of encouragement
-
Socks, scarves, or soft personal items for warmth
-
Small symbolic gifts (e.g., elephant tokens or purple ribbons)

WHY IT MATTERS
Domestic violence is more than physical harm — it’s emotional trauma, fear, and silence.
Survivors often leave everything behind. They escape not only danger but also familiarity, comfort, and identity.
Sylvia’s Fragrance of Hope steps into that void.
Our Purple Box becomes the first bridge to healing. It’s small, but powerful. A gift. A gesture. A start.
With each box, we remind survivors that there’s a whole community standing beside them.
